Saturday evening the best catfish dinner starts at 5pm. We had a day of horseback trail riding at nearby LBJ Grasslands preserve. Then arrived at 4:45 to beat the crowd. Also, local music artists performed that evening. We were treated to a wonderful mix of violin-fiddle, Mandarin, guitar, and banjo with authentic local folk influence.
Most small town groceries have gone the way of the Blacksmith Shop and Barber Poles. However, Greenwood Grocery is something special...Saturday nights are filled with Live Music, Friendly Conversations, and Crispy Catfish (BYOB). It's a perfect place for that unique date night, casual dinner, or even a quick lunch... The atmosphere is amazing regardless.
