What an interesting place, jam-packed with history of every kind! Very thankful to the staff who led an after-hours tour for my son's Cub Scout troop. They were very knowledgeable and patient with our busy boys. So glad to see history being preserved in authentic and meaningful ways. It's definitely worth a visit!

I stopped off on my day off on a Monday. This place is only open on Monday-Saturday, from 10am to 3pm. But on Mondays, there is often a young man there who gives a tour of this museum at no additional charge to addmission which is one dollar. Cash and Check only. Anyways, you will be amazied at some of the items in this place, the tour guide said "every thing was a donation, and they take it all," and it was ovious that they did, this place is plum full of very unique and rare antiques, and as well local history. There is even an theater on the second and third floors. You must go on Mondays for a tour, I was told he isn't there on any other days, but would be willing to scedule an appointment for a tour for anyone.
