The Microwave did not work.
The next morning as I was leaving I noticed the sign was destroyed to non existence. If it had been lit up I would have had no problem finding it and no doubt the local people would have known where it is.
I took pictures of how disgusting it was. The staff was rude from minute one. I actually called to complain to the main number because the manager was always unavailable. I love Motel 6, but I will never stay at this location again.
I finally arrived from the rear and wouldn't have known I was there then except for the Google Map indicating my arrival.
I of 2 bath towels was tattered with holes and shredded along the hemline.
Once in my room, everything was tidy and nice. The only thing I noticed was the commode seat was only fastened on one side but that wasn't a problem for me.
Good rate.
As for recommending Motel 6, I would but not the one in Decatur until the sign is repaired so it can be easily found at night.
Ok was alittle put off by reviews but when you travel with dogs options are limited and guess what??? Clean room accommodating staff good price!! Yes it is hard to find but if you google days Inn that is closed you found the Motel 6 so yup fridge and microwave in room plus big room so yea 4 stars for a Motel 6
The lady who checked me in wasn't real clear about where the elevator was located or else I wasn't clear headed enough to understand but I found it to be problematic.
The room was nice and big which was great with two dogs. The bathroom however had black mold on the ceiling in the shower area. I was not impressed with that at all.
1 of 2 washcloths was soiled with black fingerprints and strips of black soil.
Very comfortable bed. Great air conditioner.
After arriving in Decatur it took hours for me to locate Motel 6. I was following my Google Map which seemed to be taking me around in circles even though it did show the correct address. How to get to the address was the problem.
I enquired directions from locals two different times and although they were familiar with the area they couldn't tell me where Motel 6 was located.
