I was having trouble with my vehicle several years ago and asked a good friend for a recommendation--Flusche Auto repair. I have never been disappointed. Philip is an honest, conscientious, knowledgeable and hardworking man that I trust with all my automobiles. He is also very compassionate. My daughter was in Lubbock 2 years ago when her Jeep Patriot started acting up on the highway stranding her in the rain. She had called both Jeep dealerships in town and was told that they couldn't help her as they were too busy and would be unable to tow her or even look at her car for over a week. I called Philip and he tracked down a reputable, honest and certified mechanic facility near her that even had Saturday hours. He called them and explained her situation and they worked in her car that day. Unfortunately, this is not typical of most people now but I never doubted Philips response and help.
The service was great. As always my vehicle was fixed promptly and at a reasonable price. Again you fixed my vehicle in an honest manner. Unlike other places you have given us honest work. There have been so many times you could have claimed we needed higher priced repairs on all our vehicles but you've never taken advantage of us. We've been doing business with you for almost 20 years and will continue to give you our business. Thank you so much for being so honest and once the repair has been done it's fixed. We have never had to bring it back to have it fixed properly since it's done properly the first time. Also, thank you for the advice over the years about the proper way to take care of our vehicles. I'm sure you've saved us money in that respect too.The ONLY place I will take my vehicles.

Took my truck in to Flusche Auto to get my ac fixed and they got it done fast. Mr. Flusche was friendly and honest. Told me everything I needed to get my truck ac working right. He probably could have charged me more with all the problems they ran into but they didn't. I am glad I found a good mechanic with fair prices. I will be taking all my vehicles here.
This man is not honest and is a big fraud. He is not a mechanic only a technician- to which that is even expired. I used to be the secretary for Phillip Flusche Auto Repair, and quit after learning and seeing for myself how shady of a person he is. If you value your car, even if you're a long time customer, do not take your car here. I would handle billing, sales, entering bills, basically anything he told me to do. I have several stories of him lying to customers about repairs- even ones that were not needed, doing unauthorized repairs, unknown repairs, charging customers more for being wealthy, he screws people one way or another and does so in mechanical terms as to make the customer think they are getting good service when that is very opposite. My own personal experience is that he would 'supposedly fix' what was wrong with my car- but I would continue having the same problem and then some- he put old parts on my car that he said were new and over charged me for them and they did not even last a year then charged me for new ones when I had to replace, my a/c wasn't working and he said it was the clutch so I replaced and it started making noise then saying that I needed a new compressor even though my a/c was still cooling, my alternator went out and less than a year later it's having problems again- come to find out it was the bad battery he put on that was a 42 month warranty that he told me was a good battery but it's only been on for a year and half so the bad battery probably caused my alternator to go out in the first place, he said my knock sensor went out so I had all that replaced and more and was still having problems with knock sensor- meaning the labor and parts were for nothing because he misdiagnosed it but I still had to pay, His technician told me my control arm needed to be replaced and then Phillip said Jose wasn't checking it correctly and nothing was wrong with it but I saw Phillip checking other vehicles the same way- while driving I can tell something is wrong with it, my brake light and abs lights have both been on and he said everything was fine he even passed my inspection which is illegal - but when I had Jose take the hubs off my rear brake shoes were shredding and falling off almost gone- with this job, it wasn't completed and the parts I ordered for my car Phillip told Jose not to put on and Phillip ordered different cheap parts and had Jose put on without my knowledge or consent, with oil changes he has been putting the wrong oil in my car but had been telling me that "oil is oil" though an actual mechanic told me that is not correct. there is a lot more he had done wrong. A lot. He blames the things that go wrong on his technicians but it's Phillip the owner. I am sure Phillip will just say I am a disgruntled prior employee- darn right I am and disgruntled customer. Please just trust me DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.
I was really pleased with the friendly service I got here. I had just recently purchased a used vehicle that needed /still needs some things worked on it, but I could only afford so much at a time to get what I needed worked on and taken care of. They were more than happy to look the vehicle over and give me a list and estimated costs of what I was going to need to fix and that they would work with me little by little of getting these thing done so that way it would make it easier on my pocket book to budget.
